Major Update

Over the past 3 years many of you have become familiar with Faulkner Technologies as customers and business partners, or just having an element of curiosity as to where we were headed along the technology innovation path. Today we want to update you on some of the key points of what is becoming a more refined company message and value proposition, one that is proving its success by a solid list of recognisable customers and business partners.

Faulkner Technologies has maintained a steady focus, honing in on the idea that business people and subject matter experts should be able to define and build their own software, getting exactly what they want, and deploying that software without creating a drain on their technical resources, be they people or hardware.

When we started the company, the idea of software that could be created by non-technical people was still a very new idea, and the fact that you could receive enterprise-level software as a service through your Web browser without investing in hardware or internal technical resources, something we now know as Software as a Service, was far from being a mainstream idea.

Since then, a whole new industry and vocabulary have become mainstream, and we now know that Software as a Service is a monumental change in the development of software, as well as its delivery and maintenance; a change that we have been a part of since the start, and one that we will continue to impact in a major way over the next several years.

So where is Faulkner Technologies positioned within the Software as a Service marketplace, and what are we doing differently from other companies?

In short, Faulkner Technologies is giving enterprise-level organisations the ability to embrace Software as a Service by making it possible to build high quality software quickly at a non-technical level, and then deliver that software internally, as a service. Using our Elastic Apps product and Software as a Service delivery platform, we enable our customers to develop and distribute, in a matter of weeks, software applications that may have previously taken months or years to implement and show a return on investment.

While some providers in the market focus on the ability of non-technical people to build straightforward tools for their own use or small groups of users, we are focused on the idea that people can combine a series of tools to construct entire business software systems, a subtle but important point of difference when providing solutions for enterprise-level business challenges.

To date, our customers have been able to create some fantastic solutions in key business areas such as compliance and risk management, customer service and sales performance, intellectual property management, training and crisis management, to name a few, and to distribute those solutions across major commercial and government enterprises.
